Sage 100

Customer wants to have the MRP Generation automatically run in the evening. Anyone ever done this or know if it is possible?

I take it that's not an option in L/M Task Scheduler. I wonder if it could be accomplished similar to how you can run a VI job outside of Sage 100 via Windows Task Scheduler.

It is not an option in LM. I was thinking the same thing, but was wondering if someone had done that or knew for sure.

I would recommend a macro utility like PTFB (see link), which can be programmed to auto run a series of mouse clicks and keyboard entries. I use this to auto update batches, and restart applications automatically if they crash. Check it out http://ptfbpro.com/

Similar to @MichaelBuscher's suggestion, MacroExpress (http://www.macros.com/) is another option that I know some folks have used.
