Customer using F9 on Sage 100 ERP 4.5. They had to reinstall F9. Say that previously they were able to save Excel file (after generating with data from F9) and someone with non-F9 (not installed) workstation could open that file and view data. Now when the non-F9 workstation opens that file it's all #VALUE links indicating there's no connection to F9/Sage. Anyone know how they were creating these files with values instead of formulas? The customer claims they ""just saved them"" and did not do anything special.

I suspect the #VALUE errors are coming from the F9 workstation. Automatic recalculation with the recalculation at save box checked could do this. I'm wondering if the reinstalled F9 is pointing at the Sage 100 data. They could open the file with these errors on the F9 workstation and hit F9 to recalculate and if they get these errors repoint F9 to the Sage 100 data.

If they are getting the #VALUE! error with F9 loaded, you might start by having them to a search and replace, searching for '=' and replacing it with '='. This forces Excel to recalculate all of the cells.
