Sage 100

Customer uses Timecard/Job Cost and Payroll. They are looking for a mobile (iPad) solution to be able to collect the time/Job info and upload to Timecard in Sage 100 2013. Is this what Timesheets used to do, and does anyone have any experience with it since it was sold off? Any other suggestions?

Timekeeper though I don't think it's at 2013 (at least not time I checked). One nice thing on TK is that it's easy to setup a web UI. One downside is no mobile app.

We have a client on Timesheets that bought just before Sage sold it. My impression is Insperity (the purchaser) is doing little or nothing to further develop or sell it so we have not recommended it. We or someone needs to develop this app. We have probably had 3-4 prospects this year for that are looking for that solution.

Could you use sData and create the app for the client? That would save buying, learning and implementing something else and could prove to be a resellable solution to any other clients that need something similar.

sdata works with legacy modules, or just business framework?

Here's the reply @EricAnderson This is only for the Business Framework Tables. So it won't work for almost all of the legacy tables. There are a few framework tables defined for some legacy Modules. There are a couple ways to know this. First, you can look at the tables available on the SData Security Tab in Role Maintenance. Those are the only tables available for SData. Second, you can look at the contract schema in SData by issuing this request in your browser: https://mymachinename/sdata/MasApp/MasContract/Companycode/$schema to see the ""resources"" and relationships.
