    Customer upgrade from 2013 to 2016 yesterday. While explaining the new features she asked if there was a way to turn off the popup in payroll data entry if you try to key more vacation/sick earnings than the employee has available to them (popup says 'Available Vacation are only -8'). They don't use the vacation/sick fields so it's always negative anyway. I didn't see anyway to turn off the notification; am I missing something?

    The earnings code they are using must be tagged as type = vacation. If it were standard the message wouldn't appear. You may have to use DFDM to change it.

    have you considered importing a bunch of hours into the accrued, Carry-over, and annual hour limit fields for each employee? I was a bit surprised to find that these fields are stored in PR1_EmployeeMasterFile. I guess if they have a lot of turnover/new employees then that would add some time to setting up a new employee. There is also a field in PR_26EmployeeBnfitAccruals that gets updated when you manually type information in those fields. I did a little testing and when doing data entry it does not appear to check that information so you might not have to import into that.
