Customer updated a BoM Cost Rollup Register (without reviewing) and it blew out standard cost masks (many looked like -.15897381715). Later these costs used during register updates and posted to the GL with blown masks (no they didn't review those registers either). Followed KB instructions to edit the GL_DetailPosting and GL_SourceJournalHistory files and get rid of excess decimals. However still can't print Balance Sheet (error 92 sy_reportengine.pvc line 00174). Ran a compare of GL DetailPosting summarized to GL_SourceJournalHistory and find that many of these don't agree (i.e., GL_Detail debit & credit =10.66 Source Journal History debit & credit = .26). What next?

I thought about that but doens't it only recalc accounts balances for the history tab?

I would think that's where the Financial reports get their data.

I would agree with @BethBowers - if you recalc, it may clean up anything due to the decimal issues.

That would correct anything in the GL_PeriodPostingHistory, I think.
