Customer trying to update Aatrix but gets the following error. Same with user with admin rights (no, probably not the actual Admin user). ""There was a problem with the update process. Error writing file C:Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Sage\Aatrix\Forms\~KY_K-1E_P2_FORM.AFM"" KB article suggests going online and downloading it manually. Tried that and unable to update manually either. Thoughts?

Ran into this once before and it was a permissions issue, the user must have full read-write permissions to MAS90 directory and any corresponding folder that Aatrix wants to pull from, update from and write to. Had to convince the end user to get the IT person to log into the Controller's PC as the network admin and then it worked.

Thanks @JimSteele . She said she had her boss log in who supposedly has admin rights and he wasn't able to update it either. When I connected and looked at that directory, it is read only. I looked at her user settings and she is a Remote Desktop User. Of course I am unable to change anything and her boss is now in a meeting for the next two and a half hours. I hate it when users have NO control over their own PC's.

Agreed, I went round and round with my end-user as well.

All is well now that the boss logged onto the network (not just Sage 100) and I granted full control of the local Aatrix file. Update was successful and the user should be able to update it going forward.
