Customer Statement printing from within Customer Maintenance/Inquiry - under the heading of fix one thing and break another: In 2017.2 & 2016.5, you can select a new form code. Yay! But beware, when you do so, the customer selection clears and unless you are paying attention and re-select the customer number you are on, guess what - you print statements for everyone. I opened a case with Sage on this, thinking this is a no-brainer defect, but Sage doesn't see it that way, and directed me to this Sage Idea to add my comments. https://www5.v1ideas.com/TheSageGroupplc/Sage100ERP/Idea/Detail/11319 Your thoughts?

so... it really needs a ""quick print"" option, so the form is set to the specific customer, like quick printing a form.

Consistency of good ideas across module is a foreign idea to Sage. It appears that individual coding teams were charged with developing their own ideas and never shared with other teams so that a consistent look and feel could be develop. Of course it is a good idea. Of course it is a no brainer. And sadly, of course Sage will never implement it.

I actually ran into this printing a statement for one of my clients from my Sage 100 and it really pissed me off - luckily I saw it before I hit print, but I was thisclose to something ugly.

We just got word from the Sage Analyst we reported this issue to that she is writing it up as a defect.
