Customer purchased the WO module recently, which was installed after some difficulties with third party add-ons. I was onsite today to go through setups, etc. and lo and behold, there are NO WO forms in the Reports directory. Now how could that happen??

I'm not sure! your looking in the MAS90\REPORTS directory and not the reports directory in the company folder I assume. I'm sure you could copy them from a clean install, but I would be concerned about what else might not be there. you could re-install just the WO module but with another third party add on, that might not be an option.

Yes @DavidOverholt, I'm looking in the MAS90\Reports directory. Kept getting the message that the form could not be found and the default form would be used instead. Okay. Then I looked in the MAS90\Reports directory and sure enough, there were no WO forms. That's my intention - just copy them from a local install.

You may want to also copy the WO forms into the ###.### directory under the MAS90\Reports folder

Well copying them over didn't work. I get the message ""Sage 100 ERP has stopped working."" There are no WO listings in SY_ReportManagerMaster or SY_ReportSetting. If I open one in Crystal - outside of Sage - and try verifying the database, it also errors out with ""Crystal Reports has stopped working."" Thoughts??

Isn't there an install log that I could look at to see what may have happened when WO was installed? Can't find it. TIA. @Sage100UrgentSupportNeeded

    Uninstall and reinstall???

I so do not want to have to do that! Uninstall it? I suppose I could make a backup copy of the WOXXX directory since they have gone through the options and are working on routings, etc.

I hear you but it may be the simplest thing to do. Yes, safeguard the WOxxx folder.

Will give it a shot - after hours of course..

Uninstalled WO, changed the registry so that I could reinstall it, reinstalled it, copied WOxxx directory back, tried printing traveler, same result. BIG sigh......

Bringing this back to the top. So I'm running out of options. Yes @KevinMoyes it is not limited to a particular company. If I open the form directly in Crystal and try to verify the database, Crystal crashes on me. Something is amiss in a system file somewhere. This is all there is for WO in SY_ReportManagerMaster and there is nothing in SY_ReportSetting. I checked SOA\sy0frm and sy1frm, both of which have some WO references but that doesn't help. I've uninstalled WO then reinstalled it. Why won't it install forms?? WHAT AM I MISSING??

    Are your install files corrupted?

How would I know?? There are no errors during the install.

I'd download fresh from Sage and do the repair.

    Will give that a shot.

CR crashing when you do a verify database implies something wrong with the data dictionary.

    That's what I was thinking....

Not sure if it will work, but couldn't hurt to try Select File, then Run. Enter SYZCON in the Program field Select OK. At the prompt, enter the following command: X=NEW(""SY_ACTIVATION_BUS"",%SYS_SS) Press the ENTER key At the prompt, enter the following command: ? X'ACTIVATE(""y/y"",""xxx"") y/y = module code (for example: A/R, S/O, C/I, or I/M) xxx = company code (for example: ABC) 1 is returned if the command was successful 0 is returned if the command failed Press the ENTER key At the prompt, enter the following command: BYE Press the ENTER key Note: When you run the SYZCON script to update data files/tables from the dictionary, we are expecting a '1' to be returned to verify that the command was successful. If a '0' is returned, in SYZCON run the following script to identify the last error message: ? X'LastErrorMsg$ This should give some direction as to the next steps to troubleshoot the issue.

Giving in and calling Sage support. Cannot get it to install the WO forms - and yes, I downloaded new install media @KevinMoyes . I can't remember the last time I actually had to call Sage for support....
