Sage 100

Customer on Sage 100 ERP Standard v4.5 - PU 4 -- is Aatrix an option for these folks or do we need to upgrade if they want to file tax forms?

I believe by year end they need to upgrade.

4.5 is not supported any longer by Sage so I'm thinking it's safe to tell them if they wish to eFile or print tax forms they should upgrade.

During Q1 filing, we had a 4.5 customer that was getting a warning that their Aatrix software was out of date (and wouldn't allow eFiling) even after we performed the updates from Aatrix' website. Only a MAS upgrade 'fixed' that issue, so I'd say 4.50 is done.

I think it is ""cooked"" for tax updates but is still open for support until September @alanniergarth .

According to the Supported Versions doc (https://partners.sagenorthamerica.com/irj/go/km/docs/sageKM/Sage%20MAS%2090%20and%20200/Assets/Sage%20100%20ERP%20Supported%20Versions.pdf), 4.50 has Phone/Web case support thru 9/30/2015. Quarterly/Year-end updates, Tax Table updates and hotfixes all 'retired' 12/31/14. It's cooked...

It's fun how Sage has several definitions of support. Tax tables end at one time. Product updates another. Patches another. Then the final thing to fall is phone support.

I really don't think customers should stay 3-4 versions back like they have been. It's a pain to upgrade over many versions and customers don't really understand the implications of being behind or why when they decide to upgrade and are so far back the price is much more expensive.
