    Customer on Sage 100 Advanced v2014. Just set up electronic delivery for AR statements. However, when sending many are failing. For example yesterday 28 out of 67 were sent. Today it was 58 out of 67. I discussed using an SMPT Relay, but there are major security concerns. Are there secure ways to improve our success rate?

    I had a client that had a high fail rate, turned out their hosting company thought they were spamming and throttled their account.

    I have similar issues with v2016 Advanced when sending out statements for 90M slow pays. About 10 or so would send, then an error message on one, press continue and some more go, then it stops again. I am sending through Comcast and usually don't have an issue. But then again, I usually don't send a lot at a time either.

    This ""throttling"" by the ISP is normally the cause, even if the ISP doesn't ""admit"" it - (hard to get to talk to someone at some of these ""large companies"" who actually knows anything ..... ) - changing to an smtp service that works on an alternate port is one solution, another is to put a ""wait"" state into the programming - this would be a nice feature for sage to add to paperless office....
