Customer on MAS 3.71 SQL called with Error 15 IMWPAA 1019 ""String or binary data would be truncated"" running I/M Period End. Traced it to a block in the Period End stored procedure. The short of it is there is an offending record in IM3 (see attached) that causes the error. Note the WhseCode is blank on this FIFO item. Did an SVDATA (remember that?) to test company and when I DFDM remove that row from test company, Period End completes without error.
This morning prior to Period End she ran Inventory Negative Tier Adjustment Report for all whses and in viewing that PDF I see this same record with no warehouse code and neg qty of -105 shows up as well as a one with an actual whse with a neg qty for the same item.
Question: Is this a legitimate record in IM3 where there is no whse code? Trying to think of a scenario where that can happen. Has anyone seen this situation with overdistribution tiers?
