    Customer needs to merge Inventory items. Is there a document somewhere that identifies the results of various fields after the merge? For example if one item has an average cost of 10.00 and the other is 11.00, what is the average cost after the merge? same question with many of the fields like Standard Price, Descriptions etc. Sage couldn't send me anything and the KB didn't come up with anything either. TIA

    I believe for any fields, the item being kept retains pricing, descriptions, etc. As for the Average Cost, since it's a constantly recalculated field, I would think it would recalculate the total cost/total quantity or retain the average cost of the kept item but then recalculate upon 1st transaction.

    And I do believe the valuation method has to agree between the items
