Customer needs to know sales to a specific state in 2007. Unfortunately, they are only retaining AR/SO history for 10 years so no chance of using invoice or SO history. I thought IM might have the customer history by year/period but that apparently gets cleared as well. Any other thoughts?

Pull the invoices from the file cabinet and use a 10-key to add them up?

I think A/R Trans/Pmt History is tied to A/R Open which is tied to the settings in options. AR Invoice History requires a user to manually purge. (I could be wrong.) All history should be in AR Invoice History from the beginning of time unless removed.

Or maybe the I/M Trans file, unless of course some invoicing is done via A/R.

I looked and unfortunately, nothing before 2017 @PhilMcIntosh and @LarryBradford. That will be next question to her. Really? 2007??

IM and AR transaction files were no help either.

The only thing I can find is their paperless journals and registers and this would be like @DougHiggs' solution - use an adding machine after sorting through which customers reside in the specific state.

I would also suggest they change the history to 15 years...... Hard to believe they don't have ANY old copies of a previous install on their server. WHO runs that tight of housekeeping on the server??

I think their server is fairly new. The customer said if her accountant used figures from 2008, that should be 'fairly close' - I wonder if fairly close counts??

Is there old one sitting in the corner still?
