Customer IT put in new 2012 server. Under his 2003 terminal services setup, he had the remote location locked down so they launched the RDP and I believe it launched MAS4.40 automatically and that's all they could do. Now in 2012 he would like the same feature but is having problems and has come to me to help resolve. Attached is his error and below is his email to me. Can anyone help me help him? Thanks His Email: I can't seem to get the remote desktop environment working. I can remote desktop just fine, and can start sage but when I enable the environment Start program and login it tells me the directory is invalid. I tried these entries in the remote desktop environment. ""C:\Shares\SAGE\Sage 100 Standard v2014\MAS90\Home\pvxwin32.exe"" -hd../launcher/sota.ini ../soa/Startup.m4p ""C:\Shares\SAGE\Sage 100 Standard v2014\MAS90\HOME"" See word doc. When I login I get the error working directory invalid. See doc.

Is the Terminal Server or the MAS server running Server 2012? Is C:\Shares\SAGE.\yadda yadda the correct location on the shortcut that works?

You have to perform the workstation setup correctly on the RDP server - via an RDP session as an administrator from a mapped drive. You also have to have the RDP role configured correctly for the server - can't use Administrator mode, you have to purchase the licenses and for user mode. Make sure the users have permission to the shares folder share and also to the MAS90 folder. Is the MAS server the same server as the term server? If so the path is ok .
