Customer is still using FRx and Sage 4.50. She received a new hard drive in local computer. Since then Frx throws an Error 0 when trying to run report to drilldown viewer. I have uninstall/install and loaded SP12. I ran (as Admin) the reg67.bat, I put in the msxml.dll (the one from 90 minds last week for a 64 bit machine) and registered it. I put it in windows\syswow64, and windows\system32. I have created a new catalog, I have also tried running report to formatted xls and get an 'invalid call or argument' error and I'm not exporting formulas. Program is installed to program files (x86). workstation setup has been run and odbc is connectable. copied the pvxcom from the local workstation common files back to mas90\home and double clicked a couple of time. Argh! Any help?

Is she using the last version of FRx they released? (6.7 I think) Also did you run the hot fix for it?

we have had similar issues and the only way we were able to make it work was to install XP Mode virtual PC on the Windows 7 64 bit computer (it is a free download from Microsoft) - then do workstation setup for MAS and install Frx 6.7.8 and the frx product update 11 or 12 on the virtual PC . We have never been able to reliably predict which 64 bit PC's will work with FRx . Some do, others have the issues you have.

For whatever reason, I have had better luck using product update 11 rather than 12, when installing on Windows 7 64-bit.

Are the paths all correct for the drilldown viewer? I've seen weird stuff when the folder doesn't exist that it's trying to drop that driller file into. What happens is you change the output to something other than Drilldown Viewer?

Well, interesting turn of events, not holding my breath that this is really resolved. But customer's C drive had a whole bunch of non C drive files (.dbf extensions). After I disconnected (telling her to get IT to fix it!) she moved all the files into a folder and now FRx worked. I guess we'll see the next time she runs FRx! Thanks for the suggestions. 2 hours spent troubleshooting!
