Customer is on MAS 90 4.30.0.17 and ran into the attached error while attempting to update a GL Transaction Journal. They hit the error right after clicking on the print button and attaching the associated pdf file for that transaction. It was working fine this morning and now is not. I checked the KB entries about it but none of them seem to apply (customer is not using ODBC security and, as far as I know, nothing has been changed from a network security perspective). Has anyone else run across this?

So, with MAS 90 it is a rights issue? Do they have full controll over the MAS90 folder and all subfolders?

@ThereseLogeais I saw that one too but it doesn't seem to apply in this case. I have an e-mail inquiry in to their IT folks but I don't know why they would have changed the permissions to the MAS 90 folder in the middle of the day. Of course, stranger things have happened. Also, I'm thinking if IT did change the permissions, I'd be seeing many more problems.

If you open the Gl Transaction Journal in Crystal can you verify the database? Just wondering if it is a report issue.

Is this happening with all users? If it's just one, did something change with his/her mapping to the MAS90 drive?

@MyronStevenson I gave it a try. No luck there. I also checked the permissions for the shared folder. Everyone has full control.

Turns out it was only happening for one user. They logged out of MAS, went back in, and everything is working again. Doesn't make sense to me but at least it's fixed for now. Thanks @ThereseLogeais for pushing me in that direction.
