Customer is on FAS Asset Accounting 2008.2. Is there a handy way for me to know what interim versions that I need to download? As I recall FAS has a requirement that interim upgrades be installed and I cannot go directly to the current version.

Yes, you have to install the incremental releases. If there is doubt, FAS tech support should have the answer. Historically, they have been VERY easy (embarrassingly so) to work with. They should have an instant answer and I believe they will talk to you directly.

I just went through this recently, and I installed 2009.1, 2010.1, 2011.1, and 2012. By the way, if there is a Windows 7 workstation involved, you have to take them to at least 2010.1 on an XP machine, then you can upgrade the rest of the way on Win7.

    I don't - I used client disks.

Ok I'll check - thanks for the disk info

You better hope they have the disks because you can only download the latest two versions.

Oh, I'm sure someone in the group will come through....

Well, I asked for the FAS Gov versions since my customer was at 2006 I think it was, and no one had them. Sage was supposed to refer it to the professional group but they never responded. Customer is still using 2006 on an old XP machine they are hanging on to just for FAS.

If it's FAS 100, I have the 2009-2012 network editions.

I think so - I'm just not sure if they have single user or network edition (I think they upgraded to network but I'll have to check)

Of course you do @JimWoodhead , along with the TRSG's.... Do you still have the 3.5"" disks from the '90's as well??

@JimWoodhead You said you have all FAS versions. Would you be able to send the installs for version 2006 through 2016? FAS Depreciation NW. Sage forces you to use their professional services group to do the upgrade. they only have the last 2 versions availabe to send for download...

They are on the 90Minds Dropbox. (Granted some are hiding) You will need to get a login to the 90Minds dropbox @MoiraGoggin

If the file is small enough, @ErinOldaker I have found it is cheaper for me to install the latest and have Sage upgrade the file and just mark that up to the end customer. But if it's bigger (more assets), they charge more.

@RhondaMcNamara That is the route we have to go. I could only get version 2009 and up.

I have 2008.2 Major caveat. Its possible this is the stand alone version, but if it's just a stopping point, it may not matter. I have 2005, but that's no good unless you have 2006 & 7, I guess. Link good for 30 days. https://stewarttechnologies.sharefile.com/d-s872c623260b4f8ba

@JimWoodhead Thanks! I got all but 2006-2007 from the drop box. You said some were hidden, how can I get to those as well?
