Customer is looking for a service/scheduling program - they service the railroads and want to be able to add inventory parts, record billable/non billable time, give a service order to client, all done out in the field. capacity is few jobs rather than many jobs and scheduled out 3-4 weeks. I have used ASI focus Service/Dispatch in the past for another client, they weren't real happy with it, but seemed like it worked ok. Can't find it on their website now. Anyone happy with a particular service/dispatch program - won't use IIG or JobOps. Is there anything standalone that is being used that we can import/export transactions and pull reports for billable/nonbillable time? Currently on 4.40 but will upgrade upon my recommendation.

ASI still sells their service management solution. We have had 3 installs in the past 10 years. Only one is still using it. Reasonable product, so-so support. Service Pro is a stand alone product that has hooks into Sage 100. I don't have any experience with it but have looked at it several times. Would love some feed back from the group from anyone who has experience with the system.

@NancyHanson I understand the IIG reference, but is there a reason why not JobOps? Just interested.

MSI was a Meeting of the Minds sponsor in San Diego - if you contact them we'd appreciate if you mention that you discussed them in the 90 Minds group. It's sometimes difficult for us to portray the true value that these sponsors get from 90 Minds so every little bit helps!

Thanks for the suggestions, I will certainly mention 90minds when I contact MSI. @JohnHoyt, my coworker asked me the same thing, it may be an education issue that I need to look at, have just never been a fan of JobOps in general. I do like the idea of the stand alone product but we'll see once I start looking at them.
