Customer in v2017...importing thru GL Exchange....out of 58 records...18 say invalid account....and the account is there...active and with no activation date... any clues??

Is the account number greater than 9 characters?

Nope....nine without the dashs..... XXXXX-XX-XX

Do the 18 have second and third segments that are none 0? Is the account number fully formatted? Did you try the format for longer than 9? I don't recall if it's 9 with dashes or without?

They are non zero? The screen ddetails without dash

But it imports some other non-zeroes

Since it's GL Exchange and not VI, I'd want to rule out that maybe due to some special character, it's looking one column over from where it should.

The account should include dashes.....opposite to what the help says....and then the date format changes......Arghhhhh

Yup - I am assuming you are trying to import GL journal entries. I have had better luck with using a CSV file with GL Exchange than an Excel file and having the columns in a specific order. i.e., Acct Num, Acct Desc, Date, Source Jr, Src Jr Num, Scq Num, Src Module, Post Amt, Comment. Here is a an example Excel file used to prepare the import file and the associated CSV file.
