    Customer has been getting spoofed in their emails so is doing a overhaul of their Antivirus settings (Trend). She sent me this today asking is Sage should be doing this task. It's being flagged in Trend and they can modify if it's a valid task. I don't have any clue. Anybody else have any input? Thanks.

    Did they add this executable to the exception list for Trend and their Firewall? Trend should not be looking at this file at all.

    Good question @CarmenCruz. they have an appointment with Trend tomorrow morning so will let them question IT and Trend. You're saying the Launch32.exe s/b be excluded from scanning as per the S100 antivirus settings document correct?

    Not sure which doc your using but, Launcher32.exe, Launcher.exe, Pvxwin32.exe and Pvxiosvr.exe (if exist, Advanced users) should all be excluded and they live in the MAS90\Home directory. Technically the entire MAS90 is supposed to be excluded from Real Time scanning. After hours scanning only

    There is an actual worm called Launch32.exe from way way back when which has nothing to do with the same file under \mas90\Launcher and some AV programs will still flag it. So it has to be excluded. It and the others Carmen mentioned should ALSO get excluded from DEP scanning in case the current setting is _Turn on DEP for all programs and service except .._ (go to Ctrl Panel > System > Adv tab > Adv button > DEP tab / Add button). Hopefully the more optimal setting is already in place: _Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only_.
