    Customer claims Sage sold them 2 per page W2 when in fact I believe eFile ONLY prints 4 per page W2. Anyone have different experiences?

    Yes they received red two part. I believe that to print from Sage 100 ERP 2014 using eFiling to W2 you would not need red W2 and can print to the plain paper though there may be some requirement that you send the instructions with the W2. There may also be a requirement to use pre-perf paper though I am not sure how they'd really catch you. .... so what are you doing time in prison for? ME: I used substitute W2 forms without perforations....

    Sage SHOULD have sent the perfed four part for the employee form, the red is for the SSA submission which they won't need if they electronically file.

    Does Sage print to blank paper ? When I preview i see the preprinted form and presume that those will all go to blank paper. I know that QuickBooks prints to blank paper and presume that Sage would as well.

    Aatrix prints the W-2 SS copy to plain paper with IRS code printed on form. Red forms are not required even if you are mailing and not efiling. You can also print W-3 to plain paper.

    Yes, my bad. I realized that I was confusing the W-2 with the 1099 government form with is required to be in red... See page 17 of attached PDF. Someone posted this earlier on SC but I can't locate the original post.

    Are the 4 Up W2's the only option from Efiling and reporting then, no way to choose a 2 up form?

    Correct - unless the customer prints from the old W2 forms that are still available on 4.4 and perhaps higher by File - Run - *unhidetaxforms. I was at my second customer who says Sage sent them the wrong W2 forms. Sage should be sending out the plain white paper with perforations and instead was sending the two per page pre-printed.
