  • 1.  Custom UDF's missing from ONE user login - SO entry - Sage v2021 ADV

    Custom UDFs are missing from SO entry for ONE user.  If I log on to Sage at the workstation, UDF's display.  IF she logs onto Sage at another workstation, UDFs display.  I renamed the sage100 folder containing the json file but no improvement.  Looking for a user setting in Sage.

    Hopefully someone else is holding down the fort today,

    Does she have a custom-screen in MAS90/SO/CUSTOM folder that might be missing the UDF's?

    No, sorry forgot to mention that only XXX-XXX mods are present.  Also, as I noted, if she goes to another workstation, all is well

    I hate to ask the obvious; but have you checked to make sure that one workstation is not opening in a different company code? I think Sage remembers the last company you had open by user and workstation.

    Yes, especially if it is a grid UDF, be sure to do the panel reset for the user.  They could have moved / hidden the UDF by mistake, and grid settings are not stored in a M4L.

    Try renaming the sage100 folder under the user's My Documents folder.

    Are the UDF's header or detail?  Have you tried switching to wide, resetting the grid, saving and closing. Going back changing size back and forth saving in between?

    This happened on Monday with my client on v2020.  I remote connected to the workstation in question for that user and resolved by fiddle-faddeling with standard and wide resetting the screens and it did resolve the problem.
