Custom Office module give away???? Last month there was a thread regarding the inclusion of Custom Office to all five user MAS installs, whether or not they have purchased it. Unfortunately, I can't find the original thread now. I just received a response from Sage on how they are rolling out the new module. ""The process is Custom Office will be added either when the customer makes an additional purchase of modules or users or when the customers renews their Business Care Plan."" Not sure if there is a way to get it ahead of their roll out schedule......

I have a customer without Custom Office that just purchased Visual Integrator. I wonder if they now have Custom Office.

Inclusion of Custom Office should have a significant value to customers without.

I can see this as a good opportunity as well.

You can get it ahead of schedule. Just call and order it. If they are 5 and above, they can get it for free. At least, that's the way it was 2 weeks ago.

So why does my CAM have to ask if this is possible?

Because Sage is dysfunctional.

Glad the resellers aren't the only ones confused! From a client - Just received the flyer about the name change for the MAS90 and MAS200 name changes to SAGE 100 ERP. So, now they have the same name so how will they distinguish '90 users from '200 users or will '90 be forced to upgrade to 200? Or are 90 users getting a free pass to 200 and we should have waited?

Update: Had a customer with 10+ users and recently renewed. Called sales order desk. Will take 24 hours but they put this through as no charge order.

Well if they recently renewed, the new keys available (from somewhere on Atlas) should reflect the CO module if I understand the response from my CAM correctly......
