  • 1.  Custom Financial Reports and Version 2020

    I have a client that is upgrading from 2015 to 2020 and uses the dreaded custom financial reports in general ledger.  Going to switch them to SI but need to upgrade them for not and switch them later.  The reports run fine in 2015 but there are a few of them that will not run in 2020.  Already tried creating a copy and increasing the masking and nothing has worked yet.  Any other ideas from anyone would be great!

    I completed one recently that was v2017 to v2020 and the masking allowed them to print.

    Couple of things I did notice that may help...

    1) Preview did not work for all of them.  Some had to be printed regardless of mask update.

    2) Printing as a group, some would not print.  Printing individually all would print fine.

    No idea why, just a couple of work arounds that I found could get them through the process.  Hope one of them might help.

    You may have seen this - Sage has an open issue on something very similar to this in the KB.

    Also, adding this for future searches ( I know it doesn’t apply to your issue ) — custom financials are not supported in Premium ( SQL ).

    Thanks everyone.  Ended up calling Sage on this one.  The reports that were trend reports only had a tab in the period to date tab.  When I change the masking I am getting the message about editing the tabs.  I am not able to edit the tabs to work for trend reports.  I am waiting on a call back today from Sage.
