#crystalreports I have a request to add the line number to the SO and Invoice forms. Experimenting with this, does not really get me what I want. Using the Line Key gets me the number when I entered that item. If I move the item up or down in the list it keeps the same number. The LineSeqNo gets me the number in order of the lines, but if i had deleted a line it does not renumber it skips that number. I probably need a formula, but can't figure out what it would be. Google did not help.

I suppose you could sort by the LineSeqNo but use the Crystal's record count field or a running total count field to calculate and print a sequential line number.
