  • 1.  Crystal run time SP21+ - does anyone have the download?

    Does anyone have the Crystal run time patch that Sage suggests installing in installations prior to v2018?  The hyperlink in the attached Sage KB article 86964 doesn't work.  Has anyone installed it instead of installing the 2018/2019 workstation for clients in test mode for the new versions?  I understand that the other step is to copy pvxwin32.exe.config from 2018 to 2017 and below.

    I haven't tried the SP. Let us know how it works. Do you have to install to server and workstations or just the server? 

    I've gotten around this by not installing the new Sage workstation onto anything except isolated test machines. This method obviously falls apart if the customer wants to test on multiple workstations that already have an older Sage 100.

    I ended up not installing it at all - at least not yet.  I copied pvxwin32.exe.config on the server only.  The user can still print in v2107 (Standard).  So, I installed neither the Crystal patch nor the 2018 workstation on her computer.
