  • 1.  Crystal Reports exporting to specified XML format

    Client has a particular format corporate wants used when exporting to XML.  I can link it to my report and use it, but it doesn't pull Sage data.  I've been Googling but all of the Crystal links that sound useful are broken.  Anyone have a good link I can learn from?

    Nowadays I use PowerShell for any XML needs, but I was hoping someone might have some nuggets about Crystal.

    I've temporarily given up on trying to get it to actually do it as a Crystal xml - instead, I'm just hard-coding the text fields needed (i.e. "<Company>", etc) in the report and exporting to Text and labeling it as .xml.  And it's working.  All of the reports I need for this client are VERY simple (no more than 10 fields), so this will get me by for now.  Luckily the client sent me all of the .xsd files, so I can cut and paste from there.
