Has anyone ever seen this and have a way to correct this?
Suppress and Hide options don't work when Right-Clicking on a section in the designer screen.
I had a user call today – she has been using Crystal Reports designer for a long time. She explained that they recently had to replace her workstation and reinstall crystal reports designer after a virus attack (CR Designer is on a Terminal Server which was also hit/repaired after the virus attack). Now she cannot right-click and click on the option to suppress a section. Well technically she CAN do that, but nothing happens when she does! I had her test on multiple reports and it happens on all reports that she opens. I connected with her so I could watch just to be sure she wasn't missing something. I also tried having her right-click and then click on Section Expert; and that also did not pop up. We could go through the menu at the top and choose "section Expert" and it opened and we could then suppress or hide sections from that screen without issue; so she has a workaround.
I tried reinstalling CR Designer and that did not help. I did NOT try uninstall and reinstall
One other consultant here at DWD said that he has seen this once before but never found a resolution; he agreed that the only the workaround of going into section expert from the Menu at the top.
