I recently upgraded a client from a VERY old version of MAS90 (version 3.51). The upgrade went as well a could be hoped for, but they had been running that version on a workstation with an old Windows Vista operating system sitting off in a corner somewhere. The driving factor in upgrade is obvious; but they wanted to get rid of that old computer and let users access Sage100 from their workstations. After upgrading we discovered a conflict with another software they have that users Crystal reports version 2013 (13.0.15.1840 to be exact. If Sage100 works their other software doesn't and vice versa.
Anyone run into this before or have any thoughts? I'm wondering if I took the file pvxwin32.config.exe from a 2017 version of Sage and put that on the server (this is Sage100 Standard) if that might allow the 2013 crystal to work with Sage100.
Since the Sage version of Crystal is newer than their software, I'm also going to suggest that the IT people to check with whomever supports that software.
