Sage 100

Client upgraded to 2024 and is also running a non-Sage Fixed Assets program that uses Crystal.  Her reports stopped printing in FAS, so FAS support reinstalled their stuff.  Sage works EXCEPT on a preview, it closes after 2 seconds.  Printing is fine.

Renamed a couple of Crystal Decisions folders that are used by FAS and Sage previewed fine.

Is Crystal Decisions a different product than Crystal Reports?  If so, has anyone made them co-exist successfully?

Did you delete the Crystal runtimes and then reinstall the Sage client?  What version of Crystal does the none fixed assets use??  Perhaps upgrade none FAS so the Crystal versions are in sync? 

No clue on the decisions vs reports question.

I didn't have to delete those and reinstall - I just renamed them and Sage worked fine.  So just the fact that they exist somehow screws up the runtime that Sage uses.

I've asked the client to check with the Fixed Asset support people and see if there is an upgrade that may help. No response yet.
