    Crystal Help Please! I have a client that wants to have on their payroll check and direct deposit stub two things: 1.) The ability to have on each earnings line the pay rate associated with that earnings code. 2.) They also have an earnings code they use for piece rate pay. Of course using the hours at the number of pieces they get paid for needs to be separated in a separate column with a header of # of items, Rate per each. I am not able to do any sorting on the earnings codes on the reports and am not sure why? I'm feeling a major big L on the forehead today! Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

    So in the Earnings subreport, the Rate field is available, so you should be able to add it, then add a column for the pcs and selectively suppress the Pcs vs Hrs columns depending on the Earnings Code. You don't have a lot of space in that Earnings subreport - may have to take the font down a notch.

    That's where I ran into the issues is that I didn't have the ability to add the column for the pcs and do any selections. It was blocking me from the data base to select the options.
