Upgrade client to 2020 and now their home grown program is throwing a hissy fit.

the application we are using is written in DotNET framework v3.5, and uses (SAP) Crystal Reports runtime engine v 13.0.19.  We have tried both 64-bit and 32-bit architectures, with the same result.

Whenever a user tries to preview a report, the application crashes with:

The type initializer for 'CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.CRPE' threw an exception .

If I un-install the MAS workstation software, it begins to work without errors.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

I believe they will need to compile their program against the current Sage version of the Crystal runtime

We had the same problem with our billing software.  I copied from the Sage folder the pvxwin32.exe.config file and placed it in the billing software program folder and renamed the pvxwin32 to match my billing software program name and voila.  It worked
