Is Stewart Technologies a vendor member?  Sage Alerts & Workflows would be a great session.  There are a lots of terrific features.  I believe the main concern for many consultants is the steep barrier to entry, mostly due to installing and then managing the software, before you even begin to master the features that add value.  It would be great to know if the most recent version has changed some of this perception.

Stewart Technologies is a consulting member.   Jiham M. typically represents them at the MOTM.  Tara Schinkel is one of their prinicples and periodically participates in discussions.

I mentioned during our September meeting that my company is a reseller and developer for a product that competes with ROI and CimCloud. I was told that my company would need to be a vendor member to be included in any presentations.  the cost would be $5000 per year if I wanted to be included in a presentation.  Can someone please clarify why Stewart Technologies can make a presentation on Sage Alerts & Workflows and/or Visual Cut, and they are not a vendor member? 

Do we, as consultants, want to include all of the potential solutions in the discussion, or are we only going to allow those people that pay to advertise to make presentations?

Is there a list of the costs of the affiliate memberships, MOTM sponsorships, etc that you can share, or are they a secret?  I would love to have a "menu" of the prices and what the different membership and sponsorship levels include.

I would like to have a conversation Anne if this is the only way to learn about these memberships / sponsorships.  As a one person company, I  have a difficult time justifying paying for the opportunity to spend time creating a presentation and sharing my knowledge of a product.

I think this is a good topic.  Something that might make it even better would be to include a comparison with Visual Cut.  It would be nice to know if there are things one of them can do that the other cannot, and which one might be easier to administer/manage/use.  @Alnoor Cassim might be able to offer some insight on this topic especially since he has presented on Visual Cut at previous MOTM conferences.  I think Jim Woodhead and Kevin Moyes are familiar with Visual Cut as well.

I like the compare and contrast Visual Cut and Alerts & Workflows @Brian Kelly.  One important reason to know the capabilities of each is because there is a large price difference.  Visual Cut with one license and 2 years of support is $360.  Sage Alerts & Workflows is probably 10 times that.

I have used BPA Platform as the alternative to Knowledgesync as it works with both SAP B1 and Sage products.    Anne and I are also meeting with Greg Swallow today to see if we can get them to sponsor.
