Created VI job in SAGE 100 STD v2015 to import into the GL_BudgetRevision.M4T table. The import job is working except the amounts being imported are not recognizing the negative sign. I'm importing from an Excel CSV file (see image). The VI log (see image) shows the amounts as negatives, but after I import and review the GL_BudgetRevision Entry (see image) the amounts are a positive value. What am I missing. TIA.

The spreadsheet should show all positive numbers except contra accounts. For example both revenue and expense accounts should be positive in the spreadsheet; sales discounts would show negative. The import automatically flips the signs based on the account type I believe

@MichaelMcDonald With the new BI it know the normal balance . So I don't think you need the neg no if this account it a Liability?

Sales, Liabilities and Equity accounts will be automatically switched to negatives. If you try it in regular Budget Entry you will see the same happen.

Thanks everyone! Changing the import data to all positive amounts was the trick! Keep forgetting I'm working with such an ""advanced"" program.
