Numerous times I've had issues with Crystal reports in Sage 100, from a menu, running a cached copy of the report and not the most recently modified version.  Normally clearing the c:\users\{UserName}\AppData\Local\Temp fixes the issue.  This morning, however, it did not.  I finally ended up deleting it from the menu, changing the name of the Crystal Report, and adding it back to the menu under a slightly different menu name.

Any ideas where else a cached copy may be residing?

Not sure if this is the answer, but did you look to see if 'File/Save Data with Report' is checked?  If so, uncheck it.  It comes checked by default with a new report - which is frustrating.

No, that's not the issue.  I made a change to the format of a date field and if you ran it in Report Manager you could verify the change.  Then when you ran it from the Menu, it had NOT changed.  It was definitely running a different version of the report.

Am I the only one whose clients keep having these cached versions?  I have it on my own machine, too.

I search the local drives for *.rpt to see if it is stored somewhere else... but folder redirection is also a possibility.  We had nightmares with one customer on Citrix where their hosting provider did really weird things with the user profiles.

@Beth Bowers - What was your resolution on this?  Have just spent the past hour looking for a picking sheet form being used.  Not in the usual three areas that it could be.

There are actually 5 different places:
    • \MAS_###\Reports\FormName\FormCode\
    • \MAS_###\Reports\FormName\
    • \MAS_System\Reports\FormName\FormCode\
    • \MAS_System\Reports\FormName\
    • \Reports\

Correct.  Not counting subfolders of form names.....

My resolution was to change the name of the report slightly, take it off the menu, and put it back on.  I never did figure out where the cached copy that was causing us issues was stored.
