  • 1.  Converting client from 2014 to 2016, doing the MAS

    Converting client from 2014 to 2016, doing the MASCRCW.exe report conversion utility. Getting this error. Retried the conversion and received it again. When I click OK, get a 'program has stopped working'. Any ideas?

    Try running Mascrcw.exe as administraor!

    Does it work if you just do one report?

    I thought I had been running as Admin, may have forgot, so did try it again with just some of the reports and it worked. Will continue trying with more reports. Thanks

    Try converting that last report on the screen. Maybe there's something corrupt with it that's throwing the MASCRCW off

    If it's one specific report that's causing the issue, I'd open it in Crystal Reports and look for anything odd (verify database, look at the version # in File - Summary Info to see if it is left over unconverted from an ancient version / safe to ignore...).

    I did them in smaller groups and didn't get the error anymore so not sure what it finally was, but all is well now. Thanks
