Converted V44 standard to v53 standard over the weekend. The v53 installation has been in place for a couple of months. I copied over the v44 live data to v53 and ran the conversion from company maintenance. They have added approximately 20 new sales tax codes / schedules in v44 since the original installation of v53. So, now we are missing the new sales tax codes in v53. Can I copy over the sales tax files from v44 to v53, or do we need to re-enter the new sales tax codes?

You could try copying the SY_SalesTaxxxxxxxx files over - make a copy of them first. I would also have everyone out of the system.

Thanks @ThereseLogeais . I just compared the 4 sales tax main tables between versions. They look the same to me so I copied them over. Seems to work so far. We will see tonight when they update the sales journal.

Or this could be a good time to get them on Sage Sales Tax!!
