    Below is what I'm planning to post into General Consultants. I removed the "Reset Sage 100 Administrator" article, but is that Insightsoftware write-up (#4) OK to post? And please let me know if you'd like any other changes.   --Steve I

    Me - opinionated?! .. 

    Perhaps what would be a good middle ground would be to remove the introductory portion which was not part of the transcripted conversation and replace it with a more factual rewrite.

    Background

    Contact was initiated after a conversation at 90 Minds Meeting of the Minds. Follow-up discussion held with Andrew from Insight Software regarding their product portfolio and Sage-related offerings.

    Key Points

    1. Company Structure and Portfolio

      Insight Software has expanded through multiple acquisitions over approximately the past seven years. The product portfolio includes a wide range of reporting and analytics tools originating from those acquisitions.

    2. Sage Relationship and Personnel

      Jennifer Warawa, formerly with Sage for over a decade, is currently President of Insight Software. This indicates internal familiarity with Sage products and ecosystem requirements.

    3. Website Positioning

      On the Insight Software website, Sage-related products are not prominently featured and appear within a broader "additional ERP" category.

    4. Sage-Related Acquisitions

      Insight Software acquired Event 1 Software in July 2020, which is commonly used in Sage 100 Contractor and Sage 300 CRE environments.

    5. Product Consolidation

      During the discussion, Insight Software indicated that certain products are being "normalized," with a target timeframe around June 16, 2026. This suggests ongoing consolidation within the product portfolio.

    6. Legacy Product Status

      BizNet is currently in legacy support status. Support resources appear limited, and migration options are being offered to move users to Spreadsheet Server.

      Spreadsheet Server was identified as a primary offering for Sage-related reporting.

      Pricing example discussed: approximately $2,897 per Power User.
