I did some thinking on this:

    • Create a Google Form for faster submissions, anonymity ( when desired ) and easier remote access
      • This supplements Higher Logic
      • Can still use HL - perhaps someone from the committee pulls their knowledge off the forum and into the Google Form(?)
    • Provide a prize that can be earned for participation over an 8 month period ( 1 submission per month )
      • We probably need to define a submission - maybe make it "accepted submission"

Here's a sample announcement we might use as a starting point.

I haven't created the form yet but envision something with minimal number of fields so it can be completed quickly.

Share Technical Solutions Quickly with Google Knowledge Form - Earn A Trip to MOTM 2026 San Diego!

You can now submit your response via our quick one-minute Google Form (URL forthcoming). This is in addition to the public Higher Logic forums, and you're welcome to continue to share in the public forum if you're more comfortable doing so.

Here's why a Google Form is being used to supplement the forum:

    1. Fewer proactive postings in open forums, and we're losing good information.

    2. The form lets you submit tips anonymously with no peer pile‑on, no awkward "clarification" calls from a vendor or publisher.

    3. We all tend to hold onto knowledge, promising ourselves that we'll share later when we find a solution. However, we often get pulled in so many directions that these technical issues never get documented, especially when we're unsure if the information is public. Using a readily available form can make submitting information faster.

Quickly report Sage 100 glitches, bugs, ISV errors, and other problems using this mobile-friendly form. It takes less than a minute to document the issue so we can track it. You can remain anonymous if you'd like.

Submit information as soon as you encounter an issue, even if you're unsure it's an actual bug.

From there, the Content Committee takes over. We'll track the issue, gather and document more information, and save it  for our group  knowledge hub.

It only takes 30 seconds, can be done from your phone or ipad,  and might save other consultants and their clients hours of searching for information that is frequently  poorly indexed or not published at all.

Knowledge is lost when consultants retire, move to other companies, or simply forget. Capture your insights before they disappear - this will benefit your team and safeguard your hard-earned reputation.

Submit at least one qualified tip per month for eight months to be entered into a drawing for a free trip to MOTM 2026. The prize includes conference fees, three nights hotel accommodation, and airfare (terms and conditions apply; no substitutions).

This is great!  Following some other conversations that I've had this week it was also recommended that look at multiple ways to submit including recordings. This could be video and or audio which could then be actually submitted to AI for refinement.

Another thing that also came to mind in this discussion was that somebody can record their story right into AI and then have it produced out a report. It struck me that many members probably aren't writers. The ability to capture the information with ease seems to be something we should give some consideration to. I welcome your comments and/or ideas around this.

It may warrant a little lunch and learn around the best uses of AI to capture things like case studies or problem solving.....
