Looking for advice and direction.  I am working with an account that has recently started using Production Management, yet this problem existed in WO also.  over a three day weekend, working 24/7, they will product 1800 completion entries.  Due to various problems on the network, 10+ years of history, and the fact that a truck may be waiting to take product as soon as it is packaged off the production line, they update transactions one at a time.

In the general ledger, they have (as an example); hundreds of raw material issues for a product line for each day of the year.

Is external reporting really the only way to manage looking at the general ledger details?  Has anyone developed a method to "consolidate the DTR for the date" before it is posted?  No right?  That would not be possible, would it?

We did this for a client many moons ago.  They were using WO with Radio Beacon warehouse management.  As I recall, we created a hybrid DTR Crystal report to summarize these transactions.  I will see if I have it in the way back machine......

Found it.  Had to wipe the dust on cobwebs off as the file date was 12/15/2005.  let me know if you can use it.
