    I'm aware of the number of resolutions to this particular error as outlined in this KB 19875

    I've seen the error over the years but only sporadically, except for one customer.
    With this customer, for every user on a Sage 100 Advanced v2021, I have to check "Spawn Tasks" in user maintenance or they get the above error.

    The obvious solution is "just check the box and be done with it."
    And I agree - checking the box solves this 100%.

    So while that's good and sound advice, my issue is that on a big Sage 100 site - where you are adding people pretty regularly, it's very easy to miss the checkbox since it's not checked by default, and using the option isn't something I run into much.

    My question: 

    Is there some configuration I can change that would get me out of having to check off the "Spawn" box under preferences for every user?

    Sounds like a good suggestion for the Mod Squad / Ideation90.  (I don't know of a way to set user defaults, and we can't attach scripts to system tables...).
