Hi Wayne,
This is the message that is being sent out as a Partner Communications and posted out to the various communities regarding this issue right now:
As some of you are aware, in the last 24 - 36 hours we experienced some communication issues between the Sage 100 ERP application and our PEP data servers that negatively impacted some of our customers. This included application time-outs for some users, and temporary slowness for some others. We were able to restore service early this morning and are taking steps to prevent this issue from occurring in the future. If you have any customers experiencing residual problems, please have them contact Sage technical support.
We will provide additional information in the next couple of days on the cause of the issue and what changes we are making going forward. Our goal is to ensure that our customers and partners have confidence in this important tool, which provides valuable information to help Sage prioritize future product improvements for our customers.

We are exploring the root cause and will follow-up with additional information on it as soon as we are able. We hope that people realize this is a server connection issue, not a PEP issue. We will be modifying how Sage 100 ERP connects to the PEP server as a result of what we suspect is a recent Microsoft security patch.
