I first met Therese in July, 2011 at the Sage Summit in Washington, DC (it was actually in National Harbor, Maryland). Those were the days when Sage held the partner Summit in the heat of summer to save money, but I digress. I was standing with @Wayne Schulz near a vendor booth, when she walked up to him. Wayne, being the consummate networker, introduced us. When she mentioned that she lived in Minnesota, I responded by asking if she knew Myron Stevenson, her competitor from up North. She said yes, then turned on her heels and walked away. First impressions are lasting!! Later at the conference, Wayne and I and about 10 other resellers huddled in a corner of the exhibit hall to discuss having a reseller gathering in 2012. The beginning of MOTM. Just like in the movies with Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland!
Therese did not attend our first San Diego MOTM in February 2012, but she did meet up with everyone at the Nashville Gaylord that summer. Gary Feldman and Bob Tobey hosted a reseller party in their suite. I believe it was our first 90M Summit gathering. It was very well attended. As we were walking out to hop the bus for the Avalara party downtown, Therese walked in. She explained that she had spent the past hour wandering the Gaylord hallways trying to find IBN's suite. 2nd impressions are lasting also.
By fall, Therese was ensconced on the 90M board. She quickly worked her way into a leadership position as secretary and as luck would have it, headed up the planning committee (of one) for the first MOTM educational event (MOTF led by Ed Kless and Ron Baker) in National Harbor, MD. It was almost derailed by a water main break a day earlier. Her skillful planning of the event was a primary reason for the success of future 90M educational events at Summits and in San Diego each February.
Our collaboration continued in 2016 when I merged the BLS WHQ with her firm. Having five team members facilitated our NCA growth as well as having a larger voice with Sage. Since then, she has been instrumental in bringing other resellers (affiliates) and Sage products to Technology Integrators so we can better serve our installed user base.
Therese, thank you for all you have done these past 11 + years. Your departure leaves a huge void.
Have a great retirement!!!! Enjoy the grandkids while they are small. You will be attending HS and college graduations before you know it. Happy Mother's Day!!!

Thank you @Robert Wood and everyone else for the best wishes! And yes, @Wayne Schulz there is something after consulting on accounting software. (Not sure why half my message was cut off?)
