    We have a client that has 150+ companies in Sage 100 and will typically add one a month. The companies are only using the GL, AP, and BR modules.

    They are asking for a better way to exclude users from access one company. We have 4 main users that are set to all companies. 3 of those need all companies except 1.

    I know that we can  manually update the the user maintenance and remove the all companies line and enter each of the 149+ companies. I was going to look at a VI job or task to an intern,  but if anyone has any company exclusion thoughts or programs, I would love to hear them.

    This is a feature in newer versions of Sage100....  see below (exclude checkbox on far right of company -role grid in user maintenance)

    @Michael Davis, it is possible to import to security. I also had a client just like you described and would do that in Sage 2018 a couple of times a year. I don't think I have access to the VI jobs anymore but it wasn't hard to setup. I can help if you choose to go that way.
