We are a amazing group of like minded resellers and consultants that share and support each other through our online community and education events. We grow and enrich our experience and our customers experiences each and everyday as we help each other, learn from each other, and share with each other.
When I was looking for Higher Logic contractors to help update our site, each and everyone one of them was AMAZED AND BLOWN AWAY at the level of engagement we have with our members.
After Acuamtica didn't renew their membership with our group they stated it was because we don't have new firms for them to recruit. Wow, didn't anyone else find this a stunning revelation? They only need us until they are done with us. It was during that board meeting, I stated something similar to the above.
I repeat the following - Let's do what we do best, and expand our membership by doing what we already do well, being a great support of break fix with amazing educational events. There are hundreds of ERP consultants that need us, let's help them by doing what we do best.

Yes, I think you're right. Exploring this resource has been on my list for some time, and I think I got originally from Moira. I think it's time for a closer look now.

That was the resource Moira brought to us a couple of years ago I think.

One of our main goals is increasing member engagement, especially beyond Sage 100 break/fix. I have been looking for resources to help us move beyond where we are now. I think CommunityRoundtable.com is a good start. I just had a brief discussion with the director of this 7-person firm that solely concentrates on helping firms and nonprofits (300-350) increase their engagement with their customers.
attached is their "State of Community Management" overview. Please check out their website and this document. I will likely propose spending $350 for access to a pretty extensive library of resources after I get some sample access.
What do you all think of this?
