  • 1.  Column not in IOList for SY UDT Table

    Hi
    Sage Premium 2018.6.  Created System UDT Table with 2 columns 1 is key (Branch) and 2nd is Description.  When entering the description getting a Column is not in IOList.  There is a writeup that Engineering is looking at it, but does anyone know of a workaround or fix that Sage hasn't figured out yet?  I tried importing, same message.

    I posted on the same issue a few months back encountering it in v2017 ADV.  My solution was to create a module UDT..  Will be upgrading in a couple of weeks now that Avalara has released the 2019 link.  Perhaps it will be fixed in that release.

    I reported this issue to Sage a few months ago. And was told it will be fixed in v2020 (as I rolled my eyes).  However, a few days I looked at the online case notes and it appears that it's being addressed in v2018 PU8 (next week ?) and also v2020.  Here's hoping!​

    I received notice this has been fixed in PU8.  While I haven't applied it yet, I tried to create a check box UDF tonight for Cash Receipt Detail and put it on the Lines Tab and I can check the box, but it doesn't hold the checkmark. 
    Scenario is:  Customer wants UDF Checkbox when an invoice is being written off.  The data is ultimately going back to a third party program.  So i put the checkbox on the lines tab and check it after selecting the invoice.  When I click Accept and go back to the entry, the box is unchecked.  I created a 2nd UDF as a dropbox with Y/N and it holds the data selected.
    Anybody else have problems with UDF check boxes in 2018.7 Premium?  
    Hoping if I apply PU8, maybe it'll fix this issue too?
