Client's been on 4.40 for past few days. All the sudden 3 of their companies are displaying a message that ""you must activate c/i..."", ""module not set up"", etc. when accessing different fuctions. But everything's already been activated, converted, etc. Seem to resolve it by going into Company Maint and clicking Accept on each company code. Don't think I've ever seen this. Anyone?

Here's one reason. In MAS 200, at the workstation, look at the local SOTA.INI in the [Servers] section at the PATH= clause. Let's say that path is M:\Apps\Mas90. The Launcher will start just fine but when you access certain tasks you will get that error the reason being that M: is valid from workstation but not from server. IOW, the account being used to run your App Server as a service or application, it must have the same exact M: drive mapping or the SOTA.INI must be corrected to use a UNC. Now even if it's a UNC not a mapped drive, that UNC must be valid from both workstation and server. Hope that made sense.
