Sage 100

Client wants to delete 94,000 SKUs from their system (Sage 100 2015). What is the maximum number of lines any of you have tried importing into the IM Merge/Delete Utility and have it function properly? I've tried 10k, and it comes back with a Grid Error, and just tried 5k with the same issue.

I think 500 is as high as I've ever gotten without issues.

I was able to merge to one item 5000 at a time. I think I remember having a issue with the delete and that is why I did the merge.

I do the merges just in case there are transactions. Takes longer, but old habits die hard.

Thanks all. Jeff, I would totally agree with you. I started down that path and found that we would have to change all of the mismatch valuation methods first.

Yes, it always seems that there is a 97% solution but that dang 3% bites every time... Merge but valuations are mismatched. Upload but the grid is a limiter... Yikes... Time for QuickBooks....

Ahhh yes for got about that valuation issue and that is why I did the merge also.
