Sage 100

Client wants a report that explodes a lot numbered finished good all the way down to the lot numbered components that produced it with a WO completion. Theoretically, it seems it can be done by linking lot/serial history table W7 tran type to the W9 WO tx hstry record. In this case, they only have one WO per FG. General use is for product recall of components used in FG item. Anyone done something like this before?

I have not done that specifically but I would strongly recommend that, since WO9 in my experience is incredibly slow via ODBC, that you do this in SQL via a linked server and create views by record type and/or a stored procedure to do the database work and present Crystal with a flat table to display.
