    Client upgraded to Small Business Server 08 several months back. Workstations started locking (v4.3 std), but wasn't a major issue. They just went live with v2014. Sage keeps locking up and now they want it resolved. Using Endpoint Security by Bitdefender for AV. I sent them the document on AV settings. Doubt that this will resolve. Issues sounds more like opportunistic locking. Can anyone comment?

    I've had those kinds of problems on SBS.

    Just verified that PEP was also turn off. This was the culprit at a client a few weeks back.

    I'm not sure if Kerberos ticket policy could apply here also.

    I thought about Kerberos but in my experience, that only applied to Advanced versions...

    I'll take $20 on AV - especially given that the location of files likely shifted and IT figures they set the exclusions once and then forget about them.

    I think I had an installation of Sage 100 standard 2013 on a new domain where IT solved lock ups with it but i'm not sure.
